Meet the Pastor
About Us
Pastor Curtis A. Merriweather, Sr., has been in the ministry since 1976. He is the pastor and founder of Faith Christian Church, a non-denominational church located in Augusta, Georgia. Pastor Merriweather is a graduate of Aiken Technical College, after which he and his wife Helen, attended RHEMA Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and are graduates of the class of 1979.
Upon graduation, the Lord told Pastor Merriweather to go back to Augusta, Georgia and start a church. What began in June of 1981, is now an anointed and sought out ministry. Pastor Merriweather accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior at the age of 19. As a young Christian, he wanted to know more about the subject of faith. The Lord told him that he would teach His people faith, their authority as a believer and who they are in Christ.

Pastor Merriweather continues to hold his course by fulfilling his God-given mandate of educating believers throughout the Central Savannah River Area and the world by airing “The Educating the Believer’s Broadcast,” and through his books.
Pastor Merriweather is best known as a well-grounded and straightforward teacher of the Word of God with a healing anointing to minister to the sick. He believes the greatest need in the Body of Christ today is for the believer to have a renewed mind to the Word of God.
Pastor Merriweather and his lovely wife Helen are the proud parents of two sons, Curtis Jr. and Wesley.
Pastor Merriweather also is an airplane pilot and he holds ratings as a certified flight instructor and a commercial pilot.
